Introducing Class 1
What is happening in class 1
In class 1 we have been learning about the IPC Personal Learning Goals, so far we have learned about being adaptable, a collaborator, a communicator, being empathetic and ethical.
We have read books to support our learning including The Good Egg, The Smart Cookie and The Sour Grape. From our discussions and learning we have made our own definitions for the class:
Adaptable: is if a person changes their actions or behaviour in order to deal with something.
A Collaborator: is when people work with each other as a team.
A Communicator: is to say what is going on and to talk about it.
Empathetic: is being able to understand how someone else is feeling, even if you don’t feel the same way.
Ethical: is being honest, fair, equal and respectful to all people.
We will continue to learn about the other IPC Personal Learning Goals and will create more definitions for our class. At ISBe we strive to empower children to be the best that they can be; socially, emotionally, academically and personally and these IPC Personal Learning Goals help us to do that!
