The Early Years PSHE bulletin board

Here we are again, at the end of another fantastic first term! Early Years pupils never cease to amaze me with all that they do and learn. As you all know, social-emotional skills are essential for connecting with others. They help us manage our emotions, build healthy relationships and feel empathy. That is why it is crucial to start teaching our children these skills from an early age. This process starts at home, when your children are copying you, when they start to recognize emotions and respond to them, and learn about empathy and relationships. This process is also carried out at school. We support the children in developing these skills, learning to be helpful and kind, respectful and empathetic. As part of this, we support charities such as Moeders Voor Moeders, where we collect food for families in need. Our young pupils have learned about kindness and offering support to others less fortunate. This year we have introduced another charity, a toy donation, to help other children experience joy. How fantastic! Kindness was a main focus during our recent anti-bullying week. Here is a little story to show you how easy it is to put it into practice. Hope you enjoy it!
