To our valued parents and ISBe community members,
Over the past two weeks, we have continued to see excellent engagement from our students across both academic and community activities.
One highlight has been the Speech Competition heats, where students demonstrated impressive confidence, preparation, and public speaking skills. The quality of the presentations was very high, making the selection process particularly challenging. We are pleased to announce that ten finalists have been selected to progress to the final stage. Given the strong participation across year groups, we have decided to separate the competition into two categories: Middle School and High School, allowing students to compete among peers at similar stages of development. We look forward to the final rounds and congratulate all students who participated for their effort and courage in presenting their ideas.
Another wonderful moment for the school community was the Class 6 Exit Point Assembly and Fashion Show. The students presented their learning in a creative and engaging way, demonstrating both confidence and teamwork. Well done to Class 6 for their efforts and thank you to Ms. Kristien for guiding the students in delivering such an enjoyable presentation.
We would also like to extend our appreciation to the House Committee for organising the recent Dragons event, which brought students together in a spirit of collaboration and friendly competition. Events such as these continue to strengthen our sense of community and house pride.
Looking ahead, we are excited that STEAM Week will begin next week. Our teachers have planned a variety of innovative and engaging activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and problem-solving across Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. We hope students will fully enjoy these experiences and take the opportunity to explore new ideas and skills in a dynamic and hands-on way.
As always, we are proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by our students and look forward to another exciting week of learning ahead.
