Class 4 – Term Highlights Round-Up!
What an incredible term it has been for Class 4! The children have thrown themselves into every topic, challenge, and adventure with curiosity, enthusiasm and creativity. Here are just a few of our favourite moments from a truly unforgettable term.
Space Scientists
Our term began with a deep dive into the world of space scientists. The children loved discovering how astronauts, engineers and astronomers help us understand the universe. A definite highlight was our fantastic trip to the Urania Space Centre. The excitement on the children’s faces as they looked through a real telescope was priceless! They also learnt all about constellations – spotting patterns in the stars and discovering the myths behind them. Back in class, the children created their very own shimmering nebulae, full of colour and sparkle.
What a Wonderful World
In IPC, our theme “What a Wonderful World” took us on a journey around the globe. We explored some of Earth’s most breathtaking natural wonders, from towering mountains to glowing forests and spectacular waterfalls. Inspired by their research, Class 4 collaborated to create a beautiful class calendar, with each month dedicated to a different wonder. Their creativity and teamwork made this project truly special.
English – Reports on Italy & Rome
In English, our big achievement was producing non-chronological reports all about Italy and Rome. After learning fascinating facts about landmarks, culture, food, and history, the children carefully planned, wrote, and edited their reports. The final pieces were impressive—informative, well-structured, and full of personality!
Literacy Week Adventure
Literacy Week brought even more excitement as the children boarded ISBe Airways for a globe-trotting adventure! Each group “flew” to a different country, exploring its traditions, geography, food and culture. They then put together a fantastic presentation and proudly shared it at our exhibition alongside Class 3. The effort and confidence they showed were outstanding.
A Spectacular Surprise to Finish!
To wrap up this amazing term, all of Primary were treated to a surprise disco party! Music, dancing, laughter and a lot of joy filled the afternoon – a perfect celebration of all their hard work.
We are so proud of everything Class 4 has achieved this term. Their curiosity, teamwork, and enthusiasm have made our classroom a wonderful place to learn. We can’t wait to see what the next term brings!
